Blaise stands at an average height of 5'9", with slightly unkempt brown hair and ~~totally stoned~~ brown eyes. He's generally clean-shaven and tidy, as long as he hasn't been forging or pilliaging or performing any sorts of untoward things in his spare time.

His PB is Bowman Jean from Star Ocean Ex.

Background:
Blaise was born on Byalan Island to the Zaibel family, one of twelve families remaining which upholds the tenets and practices of the Church of Hel. Much like any other child born into the family, he's been taught these beliefs since he day he was born, and believes them just as firmly as one believes the sun rises in the east. The oldest child of two Merhcants, he was given the choice between Alchemist and Blacksmith and went with the latter. Thus he was sent to Einbroch to take up an apprenticeship at the age of sixteen.

After advancing to senior at the school, he was tutored by Evan Rookwood, who also happened to be from one of the old Byalan families. He was able to graduate with flying colours thanks to his tutor, who, having been contacted by the Montague family, returned with Blaise shortly after. This meant the reunion of the childhood friends, as well as the temporary loss of Blaise's eyebrows, as each were taught the sort of things they couldn't have possibly learned while at the Blacksmith school.

Finally, at the age of twenty-two, he was allowed back to the mainland with his family's blessing, conveniently at the same time as his good buddy Darien. The two of them now travel throughout both Midgard and Schawkjskln (and possibly Arunafeltz, fufufu), where Blaise makes a pretty penny off his shiny pointy daggers.

Every three months he finds himself in Izlude, collecting his little brother Quinn for the semi-annual pilgrimage to Byalan to ~~sacrifice virgins~~ "visit family".

Personality:
Blaise tends to be very quiet while he's working or concentrating in any way, and can be quite a handful if interrupted (unless it's by his good buddy)... if left to himself he tends to hyperfocus on whatever it is he's doing. He's passionate about forging, and can be somewhat enthusiastic when it comes to selling his wares. He also suffers from something of a superiority complex thanks to his religious upbringing and his family's long colourful history, though he obviously doesn't share his reasoning with anyone who'll live to tell the tale.

Likes: Forging, testing out his latest wares before selling them, boozahol, sex, his BFF Darien.
Dislikes: Odin and just about everything he stands for.

Family: Both his mother and father are alive and well on Byalan. He also has a younger brother, Quinn, who lives in Izlude.
